Rabbi Shneur Zalman, the Alter Rebbe Founder of Chabad Chassidus had a great love for the Jewish people. Out of sincere concern for their wellbeing risking his life, overcoming obstackes, he collected money for the Jewish communities in the Holy Land. Establishing Talmud Toras for children, wrote many important seforim and essays such as Tanya - A major chassidic work accepted by all. Learning Tanya is the key to success in strengthening our Ytezer Tov and our neshan. Helping us to do waht we can to make this world a dwelling place for Hashem.
