Esther Jacobs and Yaffa Katz have had a rocky relationship from the time they were 5 years old. As often happens with early friendships, they drifted apart as the years went on. When Esther hears that Yaffa is now a tragically young almanah, facing life alone as the mother of a toddler, she is determined to step in and save the day.
